Irrigation systems: discuss the key economic incentives for irrigation, compare and contrast different irrigation practises. E. g. furrows, flood irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, pivot systems, drip irrigation. What are the key advantages, disadvantages and issues that need to be considered: what are the key elements that need to be considered to properly assess and model water use and resource sustainability into the future. E. g. review the video of the ogallala aquifer.
