Used in conjunction with a class 1 sewage to treat and dispose a limited amount of greywater. The leaching bed may be in several forms including an absorption trench, fill based absorption. Trench, filter bed, shallow buried trench, type a dispersal bed and type b dispersal. This class of system is the most common and comes in many variations: class 5: the holding tank system is very limited as to where it can be used. It consists of an approved holding tank to retain the daily sewage flow on-site until full before removal by a licensed moecc sewage hauler.
