Suing on behalf of large group of claimants allows small individuals to take on an organization i. e. cases of product liability, mass torts, workplace discrimination. Money made if successful goes towards lawyer expenses. Common issues various members must have common issues with corporation. Representative plaintiff a person to rep the class. Notification must have a plan to notify the class of people.
