Feminist sociologists, in comparison, define family violence broadly, as physical, sexual, emotional, financial, verbal, and psychological abuse family violence is unreported and underreported because it is considered to be a private matter. victims of family violence are often too ashamed to report the violence. Private sphere is a certain sector of societal life in which an individual enjoys a degree of authority, unhampered by interventions from governmental or other institutions. Examples of the private sphere are family and home. The public sphere (german ffentlichkeit) is an area in social life where individuals can come together to freely discuss and identify societal problems, and through that discussion influence political action. Women stays home, cooks, cleans takes care of family. Men are the breadwinners, support for family. Liberal democracy is the legitimating ideology of capitalism. Liberalism makes us believe and consent to the notion that what is good for the ruling class is good for everyone.
