Natural resource: material or substances such as minerals, forest, water and fertile land that occurs in nature and can be used for economic gain. Surveyed and can be exploited in the future: stock. Not surveyed, but can possibly be accessible. Non-renewable: forms slowly or do not form naturally. Exhaustible: finite and can deplete if not managed properly. Inexhaustible: unaffected by human use, and will not run out. Time (available time) = quantity of reserve / production rate.
