ECON482 Midterm: ECON 482 UofA E482B2CO13
Document Summary
If you send me an e-mail, please include the course number in the subject area. Other times can be arranged by seeing me before or after class or by sending me an e-mail. You can also drop by my office to see if i am in. However, due to my teaching commitments (and lunch), i will not be available from 10am 2pm on mondays, wednesdays and fridays. Note that students with appointments take precedent over drop-ins. The purpose is to examine many of the issues raised in econ 282 and econ 385 using more advanced methods. Several new topics, concepts and techniques will be covered. The goal is to provide background preparation for a graduate course in macroeconomic theory as well as to give students a taste of more advanced methods of macroeconomic modeling. This course will employ mathematical techniques extensively (calculus, methods of static and dynamic optimization, differential and difference equations).
