These values are physical things that can be acquired through activities such as hunting, framing, and trapping. Nature is seen as a source for material benefits such as food, shelter, clothing, medicine etc. The naturalistic view describes an attitude where simply being in direct contact with nature is good enough . People with this attitude just like to be outdoors. They feel connected to nature by just being in it they don"t seek to gain any tangible benefits from their experience. Intimate experience with nature"s diversity and complexity give them a feeling of fascination, wonder, or awe. The ecologistic and scientific views of nature are a little more straight forward. Basically they describe the tendency or need to study and ultimately understand nature in a precise and systematic way.
