One thing i noticed while working as the marketing & sponsorship intern at u sports in regard to the organizational culture is how welcoming, encouraging, and enthusiastic the staff are towards interns and each other. At the national office, they make it a point to get to know every staff member as well as intern immediately to ensure they feel safe and comfortable in this environment. The relationship between full-time staff and interns is very relaxed and are not prominent as everyone was treated equally. In relation to time, every employee has their different start times and flex hours are available depending on what suits everyone"s schedules. Everyone is expected to show up on time to meetings and communicate with their manager if they are late.
