Evidence for the 3 techniques: hierarchical observation, the panopticon: Hospital in the 17 centuries are horrible, you went there when there"s no choice. Even you want to do a surge, you do it at home. Even the doctors don"t want to be in there: after 1 century, there is a doctor who is constantly in the hospital, thus the patients has a constant observation.
