Plato"s conception of politics is more relevant to the current ages and it is a art to govern people rather than a science to govern people. Machiavelli would provide the better political advice, as pm would win power (without power no need to have good ideas) Plato would provide the better advice for the country as a whole, even though it may cost pm politically. Both would advise pm to rule from the top down in a doctorial manner. Neither provides good advice: essay #2- identuty politics.
