Scientific theory: tries to make sense of evidence regarding a particular phenomenon. Prediction: correlation between something now and something that will happen in the future. Operational definition: defines the construct in terms of procedures. Validity: does the data equal what you think it should. Reliability: if you repeat an experiment you would get the same result. Construct: real world phenomenon we want to study.
