That means, there are several definitions of philosophy as there are philosophers. You will define philosophy by your view of your own world, problems, will address problems according to your problems. According to pythagoras of samos (around 580-495 before j. c. ): Philosophy is the love of the truth /wisdom . But which love is he talking about, many ways of understanding what the truth is. Very interesting question when we know that today, we willingly speak about historical , legal, sociological, metaphysical, epistemological, legal truth. It means that this pythagorean definition does not really help us o o o o o o. The word "bioethics" is rooted in its greek etymology bios and ethos. These greek terms refer to the words "life" and "ethics. "
