Or gather info from ppl in the client"s life; doctor, family, etc: test selection - choose assessment measures, requires knowledge of reliability, validity, norms and standardization samples, current literature, etc. Core test, then might do a follow-up test. Initial test selection and other additional things: administration, requires knowledge of standardized test administration, accommodations/modifications, testing the limits.
