Doesn"t matter what the reason is for abortion, for example having unwanted pregnancy from rape vs not wanting a baby because one is too busy with her career. Feminists struggles to fight for the abortion rights, and a battle already won. However, disability rights argue that women have the right to abortion for any reason they deem appropriate. The newborns with disabilities have the right to medical treatment whether or not their parents wishes them to treated. They affirm the value of lives of people with disabilities. While defending women"s unequivocal rights to choose abortion, by drawing the moral line btw the fetus residing inside and the infant living outside the mother"s body. Disability rights argue that if more and proper info were given to pregnant mothers about the syndromes and treatments of the impairment, less mothers would do abortion.
