Inhibited by (no feeding): pyy, leptin, insulin. Lecture 14: sex and gender part i. Sry gene: sex determining region of the y chromosome. Male gonads produce 2 hormones: testosterone and amh (anti- mummarian hormone) result of the sry gene. Males: darker sdn result of testosterone converting to estrogen = brain differentiation. Sdn triggers the on set of puberty and production of hormones in the hypothalamus. Primary sex characteristics: driven by sry gonadal changes (reproductive organs)
