This organism is the same phylum as the humans. Whereas, if we look at the larval stage: A: the yellow are the nerve cells- the animal has a dorsal nerve chord like us, the green cells are the notochord- provide strength in the tail to allow the allow the animal to move. Can see the individual cells- shows the simplicity of the animal, e. g. in the notochord you can see the individual nuclei in the cells that make the structure. The sperm is generated in tot the egg (oocyte) to generate a zygote, which has an animal pole and a vegetal pole. The oocyte is at the animal pole towards the top. The vegetal pole is on the bottom where there is a small amount of yolk, so cell division will be holoblastic. The generation of the zygote completely induces the reorganisation of the cytoplasm within this cell.
