Redressing social & health inequaties & working towards social justice requires social change. Health ineq cant be resolved w/o fixing structural conditions. Moses: health care and medical care are not synonymous. Prevention requires tools that are often unfamiliar because educational, behavioral, and social interventions, not usually considered to be part of medicine, may be most effective for many diseases. Availability of services: how services are provided to communities the availability of health care workers, Are patients informed, can they make educated choices and decisions: what if you cant talk to another gender ? how do you advocate for yourself ? what idf you don"t speak. Building on current successes w/i health systems and rasing awareness aobut inequity & social determinents of health: although challenges vary, expericnes of others is important. Balance of funding : all 6 building blocks of a hc system exist simulatanusly & constantly need to be reevalaued.
