Finding out if every employee has completed effectively the tasks assigned to them. **it is important that assessment of unit- and organizational-level performance be evaluated independently of the appraisal of individual performance. A set of resources & activities directed toward one or more common goals, typically under the direction of a single manager or management team (= better coordination & control) Any organized or purposeful activity or set of activities delivered to a designated target group: ex. Class, pamphlet or booklet, poster, prescribed regimen, or combination of interventions. Resources (human, material & monetary) are allocated to given programs. Set of activities carried out (repeated) on a continuing basis. Carried out just one time with no intention to continue it further. Could later be converted into a regular program. Often aimed at improving the conditions of target groups & thereby benefitting the society at large. Welfare programs, drug education programs, & highway maintenance programs of the federal, state, & city governments.
