Delivery systems there are many different ones. Understand how health care facilities serve the public there is a right way (makes it easy for someone to travel through the health care system) and wrong way (make it difficult). Health care systems in canada: pacs picture archiving and communication systems refers to all archives of records and way communication systems are imbedded into our health care system. Cihr funds the research but the health units provide the vehicle to do the necessary work within the community. Idea is that we need to get rid of the disconnect in the health care system: this acts as an umbrella to help coordinate health care, local hospitals, laboratories services public or private, senior centers. Volunteer agencies: typically run off of donations and government funding, support a specific disease, cause or medical condition, most of the time funds are used for research and/or education and/or promotion.
