Emotions as a way of figuring out, is this something i want to start to do - one of the cues that indicate to us what direction we should be moving our behaviour. Physiology - autonomic nervous system - changes in it are cues about what you"re feeling in that moment - may be apparent to other individuals. Cognition- subjective feelings, judgements, appraisal of emotions to create a subjective feeling of what happiness or sadness looks like. Experience/behaviour - those behaviours are observable and sensed or perceived by those around you.
