80% of people lives on less than a day: we are helping keep the poor of the world poor, our current life styles prevent us from fully enjoying life, we should move into action to transform the society, we have the knowledge and we are called to go and transform, cynicism is the realization of the problems in the world, but saying you cant do anything, we are doing nothing, if you criticize war you may be labeled as unpatriotic , hope is an appropriate response to a task that is difficult is imaginable, hopefully about the possibilities but not optimist about the demise of certain structures and powers in the short run, corporations and capitalism as systems of oppression and exploitation.
