Wave 2 often ignored norms guiding scientists; tended toward cynicism ( to believe that people are generally selfish and dishonest ). science is politics by other means. Ubiquitous: means present, appearing, or found everywhere. Definition of specialist is having expert knowledge if field, or someone something that concentrates on a limited area. For example: a bookstore that only sells fiction and magic books is an example of specialist bookstore. Wave 3: attempt to balance worship and skepticism of scientists or science experts. Worship: feeling or expression of revenge and adoration. Act of showing, respect and love for a god especially by praying with other people who believe in the same. Skepticism: attitude of doubting the truth of something, such as claim or statement.
