Document Summary

Assignment #3 individual short answer questions: a worldview is a series of beliefs and assumptions that a person holds about reality. These set of beliefs are made up of two types: core beliefs or peripheral beliefs. Core beliefs are the main ideas that shape the worldview and cannot easily be changed or tweaked. Peripheral beliefs are ideas that support the core beliefs or build up from them. Since a worldview is the perspective of a person on the world, if someone tries to manipulate others into believing in their worldview or theory then they need to prove their observations. The best way to prove is to get a highly reputable or well-known person to agree with their theory and that is called a confirmation reasoning. If someone disagrees with a theory and decides to prove their argument that is called a disconfirmation reasoning.
