Based on r. v. ipeelee, discuss to what extent judges should take social context into consideration when making legal judgements. All across the world, many communities face persecution in various ways. In canada, aboriginal rights have become problematic and the community has faced severe discrimination. Canada"s diversity is ever so increasing, and to prevent the inequality amongst various communities, we need to use social context to a certain degree when making legal decisions. In every legal system, there always seems to be problems and whether communities/groups are treated equally.
