Document Summary

According to research, the more lawyers there are, the greater the quantity of litigation. Litigation: is the preference to settle disputes through the formal judicial process. There are more legal resources (more lawyers who are willing to litigate) There are more grounds to litigate (due to the creation of the charter) since the law is so complex lawyers are needed to interpret the law. It does not address the underlying issues (legal part/issues) not the actual cause of it. It is not a solution but rather a process, the same disputes often arise (there is no resolution) The law only settles legal components of disputes it cannot resolve the underlying causes of conflicts, which often times leads to news disputes. If the conflicting forces that provoked the initial disputes are unresolved the court provides a new terrain where new disputes arise.
