Document Summary

Introductory digital photography camera to image (this lesson is also in moodle) Iso: what does it control (iso speed 100) We selected the aperture the camera will select the film speed. For film speed the smaller numbers refers to lower sensitivity of light while higher numbers refer to higher sensitivity of light. Fil speed is all about sensitivity to light (quality of the image, this is because there is something called noise) Noise is when the image starts to break apart. It can go as high as f32 (f is the term used for aperture) Aperture controls the amount of light and also control depth of field. Large aperture (f/2), medium aperture (f/8), small aperture (f/22) Smaller aperture opening means bigger opening including most of the stuff in the picture. Wide angle lens, allow greater depth of field. Shutter controls the time in which light enters. Controls motion, blur motion and freeze motion by using a fast shutter speed.
