Smooth, moody intro (richie cole unique vibrato) Small breaks for the drums: cole"s nocturn. Harpur jazz ensemble concert notes: sassy strut. Sax soloist"s sound was very lean, but he played stiffly. Electric guitar soloist"s sound had a nice ring because of his vibrato: armando"s rhumba. Right hand cymbal syncopated to match brass instruments: filthy mcnasty. Vocalist had a unique deep voice and a steady vibrato. Soprano sax solo: squeaky timbre but still a relatively clean sound: computer. Mo reese (trombone): crazy vibrato very unique timbre. Ending quieted down a bit: here"s that rainy day.
