Split-half: giving a survey to a group then randomly splitting the survey items in half. The average scores should correlate: know the different levels of measurement and be able to give examples of each. Interval/ratio: temperature, grading scale: know the characteristics of crimes known to the police and examples of this types of data. Ucr and nibrs: know the advantages and disadvantages of self-report and what the victim survey is. Self-report: get info on victimless crimes, but people could lie. Iv (stimulus) & dv, pre- post-test, & experimental/control groups. X1 o x2: know what research conditions are most suitable for experiments.
