Style: form, how the content isworded, as well as overall tone. Individual memory the speaker uses in constructing the speech: shared public memory which the speaker may appeal to/use. Topics of invention, or proof is what you discoer and may pass on to your audience: definitions- very important focus reading on this, division, comparsion, relationship, circumstance, value. Evidence= the specific things found in your research that help provide the proof: testimony, examples statistics. The particular goal of the speaker, in writing, that includes: the kind of speech one is giving, the audience, the occasion, the effect the speech is supposed to have. A single sentence that sums up what the speech is arguing, including the claim and reasons supporting the claim. The thesis should be: specific, focus on a single topic, audience centered, make a clear claim, present reasons/details.
