Female ovaries, uterine tubes, uterus, vagina,external genitalia: major functions. Accessory structures: sebaceous (oil) glands, sudoriferous (sweat) glands, hair, nails, major functions. Two divisions of body: axial head, neck, & trunk (i. e. thorax, abdomen, & pelvis, appendicular appendages or limbs. Two major regions of the upper limb: arm, forearm. Two major regions of the lower limb: thigh, leg. Joint (articulation) - sites where two or more bones meet. Based on function (i. e. amount of movement): synarthrosis immovable joints, amphiarthroses slightly movable joint, diarthrosis freely moveable joint.
