One culture can be laid on top of another throughout time. Indian women were important and has decision making power. The caddo changed the spanish which made them understand the importance of women. Not a european incursion, but rather the blending of cultures. 1690 the comanche came to texas after the spanish. There were other indian groups in texas, such as the caddos.
