Although i say that this has made me more aware of myself and that i need to start. The iat test was a very interesting test that really made me reflect on myself. For the survey portion of the test i picked choices that were very neutral on race. Stating that i do not mind if such things happened such as a black person moved into my neighborhood. I just assumed that because i was in highschool where i was mainly surrounded with african. Americans and now that i am in college where, despite it being very diverse, i am surrounded with more european americans. viewing everybody equally, i have always thought that i viewed each race equally. As a child i lived in a very small town where i was the only person of color and then i moved to philly where. I lived in a predominantly african american neighborhood.
