Sports are a major part of our society. They provide jobs, entertainment, and can even change the state of a nation. Fifa discovered that over 270 million people actively participated in soccer last year. Soccer and other team sports have a strong fan bases internationally. They bring in all of the money and seem instrumental in the growth of a young aspiring athlete. I myself grew up playing sports like soccer, i played almost any team sport you can think of. I missed out on the endurance world of sports, a world where only extremely driven people participate. Endurance sports, which i categorize as long-distance running, marathons, triathlons, and iron man"s are for the elite. Many sports require a certain determination to be good, endurance sports challenge the people with that extra drive. The first person i interviewed for my project was mark husted.
