Integrated his personal experiences with his training in psychology to develop a new theory and therapy of his own act. Anxiety attacks were due to the inability to accept his symptoms. Biological- symptoms were caused by a biological factor (genetic vulnerability to anxiety, inherited from his parents) Psychological- cause of abnormality in beliefs, life experiences, and relationships. Sociocultural- cultural values or social environment might affect his anxiety. Combination of biological, psychological and sociocultural factors that results in the development of psychological symptoms.
