The final exam is worth 75 points and is similar in format to the midterm. The exam will focus on the second half of the class, although you will be expected to be able to use critical thinking skills and concepts introduced in the first half of the course. Examples: techniques to distinguish science from pseudoscience, occam"s razor, the importance of archaeological context, and the scientific method. The final will have one essay question (see sample questions below). The exam will also include: short answer, fill in-the-blank, multiple-choice questions, and a map section (see details below).
