Hydrogen was present at the beginning of the universe. Other elements were pushed together by stars via stellar synthesis to create heavier elements. It is basically impossible to determine how life began on earth because there is no way to prove it. There are billions of possible locations for life to exist elsewhere on the planet. It is unlikely that we will ever come in contact with this life because it would take way too long to communicate. Genetic material, some way to keep the inside in and the outside out, metabolism. They were much less complex and probably hardly looked the way they do now. Nonliving particle that requires a host to reproduce. They are considered nonliving because they have never actually been alive. Prokaryotes are cells that lack a nucleus and organelles. They are smaller than prokaryotes and are not multicellular like eukaryotes. They live in places where life is thought impossible.
