Tough alice shows the characters of lewis carroll"s alice in wonderland in a new tale and adventure. At first i thought that the tale was another short story carroll had written alongside his original tale but after reading the authors name i was surprised that it was actually an adaptation of the tale by jane yolen. This was interesting because at the end of carroll"s children novel, alice goes to her sister and tells her all about what she dreamt about and readers never know what happens to her after this experience. The jabberwock was also an interesting choice as the antagonist of the tale because it is described in lewis carroll"s poem jabberwocky as a monstrous, dangerous creature so.
