Only 15% of adults meet current physical acivity recommendaions of 150 minutes. 1/3 of deaths are related o coronary heart disease, of deaths are related to stroke and osteoporosis. 1/5 of deaths related o colon cancer, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes, 1/7 th related to breast cancer. Physical actviivty should be accumulated in 10 minute ime periods. Bone and muscle strengthening should be engaged in at least 2x/week. Exercise: planned structured and repeiive bodily movements don to improve or maintain one or more components of physical itness. Physical itness: a set of atributes that are either health or perfroamnce related. People with arthriis can paricipate in aerobic water exercises so their joints are not hurt. Polymetrics: exercises that contract muscles in a speciic order to increase power.
