Peoples often differentiated based on: env"t, race, genetics, religion, economy, technology, & developm"t these differences are often categorized into nature vs. culture. Direct analogies b/w human nature & animal nature cannot be made. Tendency to project human behaviors onto animals & back again (i. e. darwin) Franz boas (founder of american anthropology) perception is molded by extraneous suggestions but also by long-term cultural training.
