Expression of emotion in the workplace by brescoll & uhlmann. *when cntl for anger, coeff sig reduced but effects of anger remained sig so attributions partially acc for observed effects. *results suggest that expressing anger = effective means of attaining higher status for pro men but not for pro women. 2x2x2 so target"s gender, emo (anger vs no emo), occupation (high vs low rank) just like in study 1, had to assess and complete measures of perceived competence, status conferral and salary allocation. + assess specific attribution of the target (in cntl vs out of control on 11-pt scale) & the unemo male and unemo female targets for female targets, exp of anger sig related to internal att of being out of control and status conferral.
