Curtis, 21 years old, is a member of the audience, has devoted himself to the ex-gay program ultimate goal to get rid of his homosexual problem . Worked in the new hope ex-gay ministry administrative offices for a year, as he is canadian and couldn"t get a green card to move permanently. Curtis" story represents a familiar pattern for ex-gay men and women that go to new hope they end up feeling a stronger christian identity, but not necessarily diminished homosexual urges. Controversy of the ex-gay movement is if people can actually change their sexuality.
