Howev, the connection to the land is alive in the ppl, who use tech for the same ends as traditional culture visible. Inuit seem totally assimilated traditional practices once were used for. Most white ppl don"t want to look further than the romanticised images of the inuit so prevalent in the media, think that inuit have been corrupted by modern influence ( nanook syndrome) Inuit first started becoming modernized in 1950.
