Lenin was stressed to the people as the creator of history, he never imposed his views by force, he tried to convince others and explained his opinions. Lenin saw negative characteristics in stalin and did not want to transfer the position to stalin because he had a bad attitude towards his comrades. Stalin originated the concept of enemy of the people and made it possible to use repression against anyone who disagreed with stalin in anyway or who was suspected of hostile intent. The proof of guilt used was the confession of the accused himself and confessions were acquired through physical pressures.
