Hacking competitions are a way of preparing future generations. There was an illusion created that putin controls everything in. According to us intelligence assessments russians were responsible for the breaching of servers of the dnc and dncc. People were upset about the panama papers and the hacking was an emotional and tactical decision. In the spring of 2016, journalists published revelations from documents belonging to a panamanian law firm that specialized in helping its wealthy clients move money out of their home countries from tax collectors. The document revealed that putin"s friend had done this. Russian spies had been sent to the us to monitor the election. A group of hackers were looking to throw american politics into chaos. They interfered with the election because if clinton won, there would be hell to pay. For a while, putin tried to find a role for russia within western order. The us had also been meddling in russian politics.
