Another hit a european"s thigh and another was hit in the shoulder. Teacher samson and 15 others crept along the river until they were close to a part of boers who were sniping at the location. They killed 8 of them and wounded several of them. 22 fingoes went to the brickfields which were in disputed territory and killed several of them. They received an ultimatum on the 30th that if they did not surrender then they would be bombarded early next week.
