Document Summary

Tropic feeding level: way of grouping organism based upon functional similarities among species , by which organisms obtain energy. Autotroph: organisms that use inorganic sources of both carbon and energy. Photosynthetic: is a type of autotroph, that use carbon dioxide as a source of carbon and solar radiation in the form of light as a source of energy. Chemosynthetic: is a type of autotroph, that use inorganic molecules as a source of carbon and energy. Heterotrophs: (other feeds) are organisms that use organic molecules both has a source of carbon and as a source of energy. Ex) include bacteria, fungi, protists, animals and parasitic plants. Prokaryotes: show more tropic diversity than the other biological kingdoms. They have cells with no membrane-bound nucleus or organelles, include both bacteria and the archea. Archea: are prokaryotes distinguished from bacteria on the basis of structural, physiological and other biological features. Protists photosynthetic or heterotrophic, most plants are photosynthetic and fungi and animals are heterotrophic.
