Frequency distribution curve > the number of individuals responding to a drug at different dose. Few people responded to the drug in low doses but as the drug increases its dose, more people elicited a response. Does not show magnitude of the dose but how many people responded to the a given dose. Median effective dose (ed50) > dose required to produce a speci c therapeutic response in 50% of a group of clients. G 5. 1 shoes that only half of the population has experienced a satisfactory therapeutic response from the avg or standard dose. Some clients will need more/less of a dose to have the appropriate therapeutic response. Median lethal dose (ld50) > dose of the drug that will be lethal in 50% of a pop. in animals.
