Senators: must be 30 years of age, natural-born subject of the queen or naturalized by act of parliament. Governor general speaks in the queen"s name and must summon from time to time, the senate together. Governor general must, from time to time, summon and call together the house of commons. Senators are not allowed to be elected / vote as a member of the house of commons. All provinces and territories are divided into electoral districts differently.
