Sociocultural patterns and individual differences affect how these evolutionary traits are displayed. Dispositional attribution: depends on disposition or traits of person in question: may be favourable or unfavourable. We have the tendency to overestimate dispositional and underestimate situational attribution. More likely to make attribution error for others than ourselves. Biased to a good evaluation of ourselves. Successes as true abilities and failures as flukes of circumstance. People can be resistant to change what they believe other people"s actions mean.
