God then sets a sign of his covenant with. Abraham and his male descendants, that they must be circumcised. God the(cid:374), i(cid:374) his latest update of the promise of a son to abraham tells him that he should name the son isaac. The next chapter then talks of three visitors that came to abraham and sarah telling them that they will have a son next year, in their old age. Genesis then gets into the tale of sodom and gomorrah where lot resides with his family.
